Oscars & Sons of Anarchy!

-The Oscars this year broke a few records this year. The first was obviously the Ellen Degeneres selfie which at the point of writing this has 2.8 million retweets. The second is that 43 million viewers watched the Oscars, the most watched show in 10 years. Maybe TV isn’t completely gone just yet.

-Before season 7 of Sons of Anarchy begins later this year, both CCH Pounder and Kim Dickens will only come back for limited roles according to show creator Kurt Stutter. This is because of commitments to other shows they’ve been casted in. They will probably only appear in 2 to 4 episodes each. Jimmy Smits and Drea de Matteo will be back as regulars for the new season. There will also be new law enforcement officers. The first 5 seasons are on Netflix!

-VH1 cancelled Single Ladies due to low viewership. It was the channels first hour-long scripted series. It ran for three seasons.

Because of a shortage of news since the only big thing that happened yesterday was the Oscars there isn’t that much news today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little more interesting!
