The Roosevelts: An Intimate History by Ken Burns is set to open the PBS season with a a seven-part documentary about the Roosevelt political dynasty. -The Disney Channel has ordered Zendaya-Starrer K.C. Undercover. The multi-camera series begins production in LA this summer for an early 2015 premiere. It focuses on K.C. Hey, I’m so sorry I didn’t update yesterday and so late tonight. I had finals yesterday and today and then I was busy earlier. But, now I’m on summer break and so I have much more time! This is going to be a really long post.

-Billy Eichner will be starring in USA’s Difficult People. The show is about Eichner and Julie Klausner who are frustrated comedians and pop culture-loving best friends living in NYC who hate everyone. Sleepy Hollow has cast Timothy Busfield to play Benjamin Franklin during season 2. Fox changes dates, USA summer premiere dates, and more!

-Starting in May, you’ll be able to stream some of HBO’s older shows via an Amazon Prime subscription. -Apparently the 6th and final season of Glee will be set in an undisclosed location (Not NYC) and will focus on the original people and what happens to them and how they give back. It’ll revisit some of the new kids and there will be a big return of Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). -HBO has renewed Game of Thrones for a fifth and sixth season one day after the fourth season premiere brought in a record breaking 6.6 million viewers which has only been topped by the series finale of The Sopranos in 2007. -A Battlestar Galactica movie is in the work. -Amy Jo Johnson will have a recurring role on the USA Network series Covert Affairs during the upcoming season 5. -Enver Gjokaj will join Rizzoli & Isles for a multi-episode arc. Homeland has decided to begin production of their fourth season in Cape Town, south Africa. The new season will find Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) assigned to one of the most volatile and dangerous CIA stations in the Middle East where is back on the front lines in the war on terror. Production begins in mid-june and will shoot through November of this year. Suits has added DB Woodside and Brendan Hines for “major” season 4 arcs. Woodside will play Jeff Malone, a former SEC prosecutor who is a financial expert with a personal stake in Pearson Specter. Hines will play Logan Sandler, the son of a millionaire entrepreneur and isn’t used to hearing the word “no.” No word on the premiere date for season 4 since the third season is going on still. Suits airs Thursdays at 9/8c on USA.

White Collar, The Comeback, more Game of Thrones, and more!

-USA has renewed White Collar for a six-episode 6th season and many in the TV news industry are saying that it will be its last season. They are usually right so,  I would start the grieving process now. I’ll let you know when the official word comes in that it will be the last season. The first 4 seasons are on Netflix. -HBO is apparently planning on bring back the cult comedy The Comeback which stars Lisa Kudrow. It was only on for a season in 2005 but got nominated for three Emmy awards and HBO is doing an “Arrested Development” type deal and bringing it back now that it has a cult following. -ABC is launching another show to its Bachelor franchise which will air this summer. It’s called Bachelor in Paradise. It will be like Bachelor Pad but in a more tropical setting. -Showtime’s Master of Sex has cast Danny Huston (American Horror Story, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) has a key role for season 2. -David Benioff and Dan Weiss, the creators, writers, producers, directors, of the massively popular Game of Thrones on HBO have signed on for two more seasons of the show. The producers told EW that they suspect Game of Thrones will conclude after seven seasons. -Patton Oswalt is coming to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He will appear in an upcoming episode as Agent Eric Koenig, who is part of Nick Fury’s team of WWII soldiers (at least in the original Marvel comics).
