-ABC is set to develop an event/limited series of a modern take on Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. Marvel’s Agent Carter has cast Bridget Regan (Jane the Virgin) as Peggy’s neighbor Dottie, a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of the titular heroine. -PBS has announced a second-season pickup for ITV’s sitcom Vicious, starring Ian McKellan and Derek Jacobi. -A Limitless TV sequel is in the works at CBS. -Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct) will play America’s first female vice president, Natalie Maccabee in TNT’s newly greenlit action-drama Agent X. Agent X is played by Jeff Hephner (Chicago Fire). -NBC has recast Uma Thurman in Mary-Louise Parker’s role on the upcoming miniseries The Slap. Gotham is set to add another iconic villain. The show revealed they will add the Scarecrow this season. -Christa B. Allen (Revenge) is set to recur on season 4 of ABC Family’s Baby Daddy. She will play Robyn, a funny, smart, athletic, corporate attorney who works at the law firm with Riley. -New ABC series Marvel’s Agent Carter has cast Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) and Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) in series regular roles. The series will star Hayley Atwell as Steve Rogers’ girlfriend, Agent Carter, as she builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice. The show will take place a year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. Gjokaj will play Agent Daniel Sousa, while Murray will play Agent Jack Thompson, both of whom meet Carter while she takes on a new role at the pre-SHIELD Strategic Scientific Reserve in New York City. -Taylor Swift as joined The Voice as a season seven advisor. She will serve in the same capacity that Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, aided the show in its sixth season, advising contestants from all four teams. -TBS has canceled Cee Lo Green’s The Good Life. The decision comes right after Green has had major controversy following tweets about the nature of rape. Women’s rights groups, like UltraViolet, petitioned the network to cancel the show.
