-Alexandra Krosney (Last Man Standing) has been cast as the lead in MTV’s dark comedy pilot Self Promotion, that will be directed by Zach Braff. The show centers on an overworked assistant Katie Preston (Krosney) who discovers that her dragon lady boss is missing. Things get messy fast, with Katie, believing she’ll be the prime suspect, covering up the crime scene. -Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will reprise their roles in Toy Story for an ABC holiday special. ABC will be airing Toy Story That Time Forgot on Tuesday, December 2 at 8pm ET on ABC. The gang will gather after a post-Christmas play date and they find themselves facing off against a group of action figures who turn out to be “dangerously delusional.” The gang will need the help of Trixie the triceratops if they ever hope to go back to Bonnie’s room. -Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., and Sara Ramirez have all signed new two-year deals for Grey’s Anatomy. Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey have already extended their contracts through season 12. Even though ABC has yet to pick up the show for season 11, the announcement is expected soon. Law & Order: SVU is apparently doing a Terry Richardson episode. The May 14th episode, titled “Thought Criminal” will resolve around a “a well-regarded photographer with a secret life.” Sounds good! -A Veronica Mars spin-off series starring Ryan Hansen is coming to the CW Seed (their digital-only studio). It will be called Play It Again, Dick. The show will be co-written and produced by series creator Rob Thomas and will star Hansen as himself as he tries to get his Veronica Mars character, Dick Casablancas, a spin-off of his own. Expect multiple guest appearances from various Veronica Mars alums. Girl Meets World, Daytime Emmy nominations, and a new HBO show

-Disney channel has finally given a premiere date to the highly anticipated Girl Meets World as well as a full trailer. -Ray Romano has joined Bobby Cannavale and Olivia Wilde in the HBO untitled rock ‘n’ roll drama set to film the pilot episode this summer. The drama is set in 1970s New York, and explores the drug-and sex-fueled music business as punk and disco were breaking out, all told through the eyes of a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound. -Fox has set an event series based on the Boston Marathon bombings. Rod Lurie is signed on to write and direct. The untitled project will be based on the best-selling book Long Mile Home by Boston Globe reporters Scott Helman and Jenna Russell. -Michael McKean is set to co-star in the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul. He will joing Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks (both from Breaking Bad. respectively Saul and his trusted PI Michael “Mike” Ehrmantraut). McKean will play a new character, Dr. Thurber, a brilliant attorney who is now restricted by an unusual affliction. -Kristin Chenoweth has joined the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants as Maleficient. -Rosie O’Donnell will be returning to The Fosters. She will reprise her role as Rita Hendricks and will appear in two episodes this fall. The Fosters return June 16 at 9 pm on ABC Family for a second season.
