-ABC is set to develop an event/limited series of a modern take on Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. Marvel’s Agent Carter has cast Bridget Regan (Jane the Virgin) as Peggy’s neighbor Dottie, a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of the titular heroine. -PBS has announced a second-season pickup for ITV’s sitcom Vicious, starring Ian McKellan and Derek Jacobi. -A Limitless TV sequel is in the works at CBS. -Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct) will play America’s first female vice president, Natalie Maccabee in TNT’s newly greenlit action-drama Agent X. Agent X is played by Jeff Hephner (Chicago Fire). -NBC has recast Uma Thurman in Mary-Louise Parker’s role on the upcoming miniseries The Slap. Gotham is set to add another iconic villain. The show revealed they will add the Scarecrow this season. -Christa B. Allen (Revenge) is set to recur on season 4 of ABC Family’s Baby Daddy. She will play Robyn, a funny, smart, athletic, corporate attorney who works at the law firm with Riley. -Showtime is developing a new series that chronicles a modern-day U.S. civil war. Anthem is “a series about an unraveling: about what happens when our political system collapses under the weight of mistrust and partisan division. Doctor Who, Piers Morgan, Hart of Dixie, and J-Lo

-There is a new cast member added to Doctor Who for the new season! Samuel Anderson will be a recurring character who plays another teacher at Coal Hill School (where companion Clara Oswald also teaches.) The new series is set to air later this year (probably around August.)

Piers Morgan Live is apparently ending: Piers Morgan and CNN are planning on ending his prime-time show that he took over from Larry King three years ago.  Apparently they are not getting the viewership they wanted and Piers Morgan is not connecting with the American audience as much as they had hoped for. Hart of Dixie is moving to Fridays at 9 PM on the CW starting March 21st. It will also see the return of Jamie King (who plays Lemon) who has been on maternity leave for several episodes. If you want to catch up on what’s happening, the first two season are on Netflix!

-There are rumors going around that Erin Andrews, a Fox Sports sideline reporter, is the new co-host of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. Brooke Burke is leaving the show after 7 seasons. Andrews will  not be leaving Fox Sports. ABC is expected to announce the lineup for the new season in early March.

-Jennifer Lopez, aka J-Lo, is starring in a new drama on NBC called Shades of Blue. It’s about a single mother (J-Lo) who is also a detective recruited to work undercover for the FBI’s anti-corruption task force. Ryan Seacrest is a co-writer on the project as well. It has already received 13-episode series order. Production, however, isn’t set to begin until 2015 for a Fall 2015 premiere.
