-Chelsea Clinton has left NBC News after three years (starting in December 2011) as a special correspondent. In recent months she has been criticized at the network for her substantial salary (reportedly $600,000 annually). -Andrea Anders (Better Off Ted, Mr. Sunshine) is set to guest star opposite Steve Zahn (Treme) in the new season of Modern Family as Kim, the wife of the horrible family that moves in next door to the Dunphy clan. -New ABC series Marvel’s Agent Carter has cast Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) and Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) in series regular roles. The series will star Hayley Atwell as Steve Rogers’ girlfriend, Agent Carter, as she builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice. The show will take place a year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. Gjokaj will play Agent Daniel Sousa, while Murray will play Agent Jack Thompson, both of whom meet Carter while she takes on a new role at the pre-SHIELD Strategic Scientific Reserve in New York City. -Taylor Swift as joined The Voice as a season seven advisor. She will serve in the same capacity that Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, aided the show in its sixth season, advising contestants from all four teams. -TBS has canceled Cee Lo Green’s The Good Life. The decision comes right after Green has had major controversy following tweets about the nature of rape. Women’s rights groups, like UltraViolet, petitioned the network to cancel the show. -David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) has a multiple episode recurring role on The Good Wife for the show’s upcoming sixth season. Hell’s Kitchen, The Daily Show, Dancing with the Stars

-Fox has decided to move Rake (the new show starring Greg Kinnear) from it’s Thursday night slot to a Friday night slot so that Hell’s Kitchen can be on Thursday night. The 12th season begin March 13th at 8/7c, which will be followed by the American Idol results show 9/8c. Rake begins airing new episodes on Friday March 14th at 8/7c. Starting March 27th Surviving Jack (the upcoming show starring Chris Meloni) will start at 9:30/8:30c meaning that the American Idol results show will be reduced to a half hour, for the rest of the season, instead of the usual hour long show. Sorry that seems a bit confusing but all your shows are still airing just at different times and some on different days. -Lena Dunham, the writer and creator and star of the hit series Girls, is planning on writing a four-part “Archie” comic-book series set to be released in 2015. If you want to see her before 2015, you can watch Girls which airs every Sunday night on HBO or you can watch her host Saturday Night Live this saturday (March 8th) at 11:30pm! -Jordan Klepper is the new correspondent for The Daily Show. He is replacing John Oliver who left in November for his own show on HBO Last Week Tonight with John Oliver which premieres April 27th. Maksim Chmerkovskiy is apparently returning to Dancing with the Stars for the upcoming season. He will be coming back as a dance pro. Strike Back, on Cinemax, is going on hiatus after the on-set injury of Sullivan Stapleton. Filming of the series will take a 6 month break so that he can recover. Disney is spending $200 million over the next three years filming four series based on Marvel’s street heroes character for Netflix. They will be filming in New York City. Doctor Who, Piers Morgan, Hart of Dixie, and J-Lo

-There is a new cast member added to Doctor Who for the new season! Samuel Anderson will be a recurring character who plays another teacher at Coal Hill School (where companion Clara Oswald also teaches.) The new series is set to air later this year (probably around August.)

Piers Morgan Live is apparently ending: Piers Morgan and CNN are planning on ending his prime-time show that he took over from Larry King three years ago.  Apparently they are not getting the viewership they wanted and Piers Morgan is not connecting with the American audience as much as they had hoped for. Hart of Dixie is moving to Fridays at 9 PM on the CW starting March 21st. It will also see the return of Jamie King (who plays Lemon) who has been on maternity leave for several episodes. If you want to catch up on what’s happening, the first two season are on Netflix!

-There are rumors going around that Erin Andrews, a Fox Sports sideline reporter, is the new co-host of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. Brooke Burke is leaving the show after 7 seasons. Andrews will  not be leaving Fox Sports. ABC is expected to announce the lineup for the new season in early March.

-Jennifer Lopez, aka J-Lo, is starring in a new drama on NBC called Shades of Blue. It’s about a single mother (J-Lo) who is also a detective recruited to work undercover for the FBI’s anti-corruption task force. Ryan Seacrest is a co-writer on the project as well. It has already received 13-episode series order. Production, however, isn’t set to begin until 2015 for a Fall 2015 premiere.
