-AMC has announced that Hell on Wheels will be returning for a fifth and final season consisting of 14 episodes. Community has hired Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) and Keith David (Enlisted) to join the comedy full time for season 6. Brewster will play Francesca “Frankie” Dart, a consultant hired to help shape things up at the underachieving school. David will play Elroy Patashnik, a retired scientist who comes to Greendale to reinvent himself. -Chris Elliot (How I Met Your Mother, Everybody Loves Raymond) will guest star on The Good Wife as an English professor who is brought in to help wannabe State’s Attorney Alicia prepare for her looming debate against opponent Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce). -Starz has ordered a follow-up series to the cult “Evil Dead” film franchise, titled Ash vs. Evil Dead. Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as Ash. The series will be about “when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons–personal and literal. -Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) has landed a recurring role on the reboot of The Odd Couple. She will play Dani, assistant to Matthew Perry’s Oscar. She has replaced Sarah Baker, who was let go shortly after the show was ordered to series. This does not mean that she is leaving Community‘s sixth season reboot on Yahoo Screen and is expected to return to the show in some capacity. Since they have different shooting schedules, she could conceivably do both. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has added Henry Simmons (NYPD Blue) in a recurring role as agent Alphonso “Mac” Mackenzie, a mechanic in his early 30s. -James Marsden (X-Men, Anchorman) has joined HBO’s drama pilot Westworld as a series regular. -Danny Masterson (That ’70s Show) will have a guest starring role on USA’s series Royal Pains in which he will play the brother of returning guest Kyle Howard (My Boys). Kyle Howard first appeared on season 3 as Dr. Paul Van Dyke but left to start his own concierge practice in Miami. Paul will come back fro the season 6 finale as a patient of HankMed’s. Masterson will play Paul’s brother, Danny Van Dyke, a wealthy hedge fund manager who needs a kidney transplant but is reluctant to accept his brother’s organ. Doctor Who is returning to BBC America on Saturday, August 23 at 8pm! The upcoming season premiere marks the first full episode for the Twelfth Doctor. Peter Capaldi will be joined by Jenna Coleman (who plays the companion Clara Oswald) and Samuel Anderson, who joins the cast as Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where Clara also works. Sherlock is back for a fourth season which will air in 2015-216. -Both Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd are leaving The View. The Goldbergs is prepping for a John Hughes inspired episode. One of the season 2 epiosde will feature an homage to one of his classic ’80s flicks. Adam F. Goldberg, the creator of the show, said that they are writing it now but he won’t reveal which film is is from yet. He also said it was going to be difficult to shoot and very expensive. -Fox has canceled Hieroglyph before its premiere date. Only one episode of the show had been shot, but scripts for several more episodes had been written. -Chelsea Handler will be leaving her talk show, Chelsea Lately, on August 26. The finale will be a live hourlong episode. -HBO has greenlit a new comedy series from Danny McBride called Vice Principals. The 18 episode straight-to-series order is expected to be split into multiple seasons. -LeVar Burton has started a Kickstarter campaign in order to bring Reading Rainbow to the web. Less than 24 hrs after launching the campaign, he surpassed his goal. His goal is to create a new version of the show that is available to any child with access to the Internet. The Arsenio Hall Show has been cancelled after only one season. -Cartoon Network has greenlit The Amazing World of Gumball for two more seasons which will bring the total order to five seasons. -BBC America has announced that the zombie mini-series In the Flesh is returning May 10th.

-Showtime has ordered a Morgan Spurlock produced show, Seven Deadly Sins, which is a docu-series. He will also host the show.  It will premiere on June 19 at 11pm.

Enlisted and Raising Hope are getting replaced by Kitchen Nightmares starting April 11. FOX is promising that Enlisted will return, no idea when though. It has also been bumped from next week’s episode cause of the hour-long Raising Hope series finale (April 4, 2014).

-Insiders at NBC and Sony are saying that they are optimistic about a final 13-episode season of Community. And are also in talks about a movie. If NBC does not renew the show, Sony said they would shop the final season elsewhere, like Hulu. So hopefully the “six seasons and a movie” actually comes true because the show is amazing and everyone who hasn’t seen it should.
