Doctor Who is returning to BBC America on Saturday, August 23 at 8pm! The upcoming season premiere marks the first full episode for the Twelfth Doctor. Peter Capaldi will be joined by Jenna Coleman (who plays the companion Clara Oswald) and Samuel Anderson, who joins the cast as Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where Clara also works. Sherlock is back for a fourth season which will air in 2015-216. The new season will consist of a special episode, which will begin filming in January 2015, and three normal episodes, which will end production in late 2015 and likely appear in early 2016. -Both Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd are leaving The View. The Goldbergs is prepping for a John Hughes inspired episode. One of the season 2 epiosde will feature an homage to one of his classic ’80s flicks. Adam F. Goldberg, the creator of the show, said that they are writing it now but he won’t reveal which film is is from yet. He also said it was going to be difficult to shoot and very expensive. -Fox has canceled Hieroglyph before its premiere date. Only one episode of the show had been shot, but scripts for several more episodes had been written. Once Upon a Time has cast their Anna and Kristoff characters (based off the movie Frozen)! Elizabeth Lail and Scott Michael Foster will play the highly anticipated characters.   • Tyler Perry’s For or For Worse season 4 premiere on OWN at  9 pm

-Starz has set a premiere date for 50 Cent-produced Power. It centers on James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) the owner of an up-and-coming new nightclub in New York with plans to build an empire who also is a drug kingpin. -Amazon has order pilots for Hand of God and The Cosmopolitans. Hand of God centers on the powerful, hard-living and law bending Judge Pernell (Ron Perlman) who, after a religious awakening, begins having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son. The Cosmopolitans centers on a group of American expatriates in Paris who are searching for love and friendship in a foreign city. It stars Adam Brody and Chloë Sevigny. -Drake has been announced as the host of The 2014 Espys. They will air live from the Nokia Theatre in LA on Wednesday July 16 at 9 pm ET. http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2014/04/drake-announced-as-host-of-the-2014-espys/

-NBC wants new comedy ideas that they are letting people submit their ideas in a 5 to 10 minute samples or a 2 to 5 minute pitch in what they are calling NBC Comedy Playground and will start accepting ideas on May 1. -Netflix’s new original series Marco Polo is in production and will be shooting in Malaysia, Italy, and Kazakhstan as well as others. Season 1 has been upped from 10 episodes (instead of the original 9). It should be online in late 2014 if everything goes well.

-BBC America has announced that the zombie mini-series In the Flesh is returning May 10th.

-Showtime has ordered a Morgan Spurlock produced show, Seven Deadly Sins, which is a docu-series. He will also host the show.  It will premiere on June 19 at 11pm.

Enlisted and Raising Hope are getting replaced by Kitchen Nightmares starting April 11. FOX is promising that Enlisted will return, no idea when though. It has also been bumped from next week’s episode cause of the hour-long Raising Hope series finale (April 4, 2014).

-Insiders at NBC and Sony are saying that they are optimistic about a final 13-episode season of Community. And are also in talks about a movie. If NBC does not renew the show, Sony said they would shop the final season elsewhere, like Hulu. So hopefully the “six seasons and a movie” actually comes true because the show is amazing and everyone who hasn’t seen it should. SEASON FINALES TONIGHT March 25, 2014!

-Paul Guilfoyle who has played Captain Jim Brass on all 14 seasons of CSI is leaving the show during this season’s finale in May. No word on why he has exited, but it did not sound like it was his decision to leave the show. Also no word on how he will leave the show. The season finale is May 7th. -History has ordered a third season of the hit show Vikings. It has been picked up for a 10 episode third season.  Production for the new season will begin this summer to air in 2015. The season finale for the second season is Thursday May 1. Vikings airs Thursdsays at 10pm ET/PT on History.

-Ryan Murphy has confirmed that the fourth season of American Horror Story will be called American Horror Story: Freak Show and will indeed take place at a carnival. It will be a 13-episode season. -Tessa Ferrer (Leah Murphy on the show) and Gaius Charles (Shane Ross) will not be returning to for new season of Grey’s Anatomy as regulars at least. They could still return and make guest appearances. The season finale is May 15th. -Daniel Sharman, who played Isaac, is leaving Teen Wolf. He apparently will not be killed off however, so there could be a chance for him to return in the future.
