-Upcoming Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill has died after a paragliding accident. He was apparently already eliminated from the competition when the accident occurred. The newest season is currently filming. Bachelorette creator Mike Feiss said that “we’re going to try be as sensitive as possible” while airing the episodes he’s in. Fox changes dates, USA summer premiere dates, and more!

-Starting in May, you’ll be able to stream some of HBO’s older shows via an Amazon Prime subscription. -Starz has set a premiere date for 50 Cent-produced Power. It centers on James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) the owner of an up-and-coming new nightclub in New York with plans to build an empire who also is a drug kingpin. -Amazon has order pilots for Hand of God and The Cosmopolitans. The Cosmopolitans centers on a group of American expatriates in Paris who are searching for love and friendship in a foreign city. It stars Adam Brody and Chloë Sevigny. -NBC wants new comedy ideas that they are letting people submit their ideas in a 5 to 10 minute samples or a 2 to 5 minute pitch in what they are calling NBC Comedy Playground and will start accepting ideas on May 1. -Netflix’s new original series Marco Polo is in production and will be shooting in Malaysia, Italy, and Kazakhstan as well as others. Season 1 has been upped from 10 episodes (instead of the original 9). It should be online in late 2014 if everything goes well.

-Michael Chiklis joins the cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show. -Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (from the hit show Jersey Shore) will be in a new reality show called The Sorrentinos which will air on the TV Guide Network. -Nicole Richie’s new show #CandidlyNicole has gotten a series order from VH1 for eight episodes that is supposed to premiere July 17. The show will be based on Richie’s popular AOL online series which was in turn based on Richie’s irreverent Twitter feed. -Showtime has renewed Nurse Jackie for a seventh season. Production is supposed to begin later this year in New York. Peter Facinelli (Dr. Fitch Cooper), however, is not returning for the new season. -Comedy Central is developing an animated series based off the hit TV show Key & Peele. The fourth season of the show will consist of 22 episodes and premiere in the fall of 2014. -Amazon is set to premiere 4 series from the 10 pilots they looked at. -SyFy announced the series finale of Being Human. The second half of the fourth season (6 episodes) is about to start, which will now be the last season. The series finale is Monday April 7th.

The new season will premiere early for the U.K. Amazon Instant Prime subscribers a few months before it premieres on BBC One for everyone else.
